Review: Tubby Todd

For the past couple months, Riv has suffered from eczema. It’s mostly on his stomach, but we’ve also found affected areas on his back, neck, and the inside of his elbows. It started out as small patches and gradually grew to cover large areas of his skin. It didn’t seem to bother him, but as parents, it was painful to see the progression of it all. We consulted our pediatrician and the first brand she recommended was Tubby Todd. She knows natural products are important to us and was quick to explain how pure everything is from Tubby Todd.

We were sent the Lavender & Rosemary Hair & Body Wash to review. Since Sam is usually the designated bather when he’s not away at work, I checked in with him to get his thoughts on the product.

Sam’s favorite thing about the Hair & Body Wash is the scent. I should probably disclose that he’s obsessed with anything that smells good. He goes ham on all the pumpkin-scented things as soon as October hits and has a minor panic attack if we have less than one million delicious smelling candles at his disposal on any given day. He is in love with the Rosemary & Lavender scent and gets a little giddy with every whiff. The Lavender works wonders in helping calm Riv down before he goes to bed, too.

Sam is also a huge fan of how little he needs to use during each bath. With our old body wash, he’d use at least a few pumps every time, but with this, one squirt goes a long way. We typically fill the tub with water and add single squirt of product, which allows us to get a full-blown bubble bath going and makes for easy lathering.

Personally, my favorite part of this Hair & Body Wash is the fact that it’s 100% natural. With River’s sensitive skin, having products with all natural ingredients is of the utmost important to us. It’s also formulated with plant-based ingredients and is completely free of toxins, gluten, parabens, artificial fragrances and colors, and BPA. Plus, it’s cruelty-free. I feel completely confident using Tubby Todd products knowing that the company is so intentional about how everything is made.

Riv’s eczema hasn’t fully gone away just yet, but I’ve definitely seen improvements. We’ll continue to use the Hair & Body Wash and plan to try out the Dream Cream next.

FYI! I received this item at no cost in exchange for this review, however, all opinions are my own. I only share the stuff I love!
