Eight Months

We’re getting uncomfortably close to that one year mark and I’m trying really hard not to freak out. Riv is seriously the most fun EVER right now. He’ll pretty much laugh at anything and when he does, he throws his head back and giggles until he can’t catch his breath. I feel like I say this every month, but this is absolutely my favorite stage. For reals this time. And can we talk about experiencing the holidays with a baby for the first time?! Despite the fact that he had no idea what was going on the whole time, we had the best time experiencing all the craziness with him. His curiosity and need to tough/climb/pull up on every single thing in sight is terrifying but also the cutest thing on the planet. He’s “talking” a lot and I can’t help but wonder what his little voice is going to sound like in the future. Sam and I still can’t believe we created this dude!
